Research topics:
1) Capacity comparisons between WiMAX and LTE
2) Relay-based cellular systems to improve the performance of future 4G hybrid systems.
3) Study if the new WiMAX air interface based on the IEEE 802.16m-2011 standard
Requested qualifications:
- 5 year degree in networking, electrical engineering, or equivalent [DEGREE TO BE ACHIEVED NOT LATER THAN FEBRUARY 29, 2012]
- Basic knowledge on wireless networking and communications
- Good knowledge of the ns2 simulation tool and Matlab
