Dear all,
M-ITI is pleased to invite you to the talk Human-Centred Computing: The Interactive, The Cooperative, and The Ubiquitous by Tom Gross, that will take place this Wednesday, November 25th, at 2:30 pm. More information below.
Abstract:
Human-centred computing can be seen as approach that departs from a human, social, and cultural understanding in order to make technology useful and usable. Taking this approach our research aims to develop technological concepts, prototypes, and systems based on an understanding of how people interact with and communicate through computing technology. We design, develop, and evaluate interactive and cooperative concepts and systems and ubiquitous environments for working, learning, and social interaction. In this talk I will share some general thoughts on the approach, give some examples from our work, and try to bridge the gaps between interactive, cooperative, and ubiquitous paradigms and methods.
