Announcement

We seek to candidates with a strong background in Computer Science, or Mathematics. Previous knowledge of concurrence and formal methods techniques are assets. Successful candidates may opt to apply for a PhD degree at UMa (University of Madeira). The successful candidates will focus on the specification and implementation of the necessary static verification tools for guaranteeing the safety (and other) properties of the software developed on top of the runtime infrastructure developed by the Aeminium project. It is envisioned that several different tools will be constructed allowing for different types of concurrency analysis to be performed.
